Honey is one of those cases that stays with you. When she first arrived, she was in a very sorry state after being found as a stray. She was severely malnourished and suffering from painful, weeping eyes caused by blocked tear ducts.
She also needed surgery to remove mammary tumours. For a little rabbit who had already been through so much, she remained gentle, trusting and unbelievably brave.
Honey is not in her forever home yet, and she is still waiting for future surgery, but she is already a success story. She has been saved from abandonment, pain and neglect. She is now comfortable, bright-eyed, pain-free, enjoying fresh healthy greens, and her face has healed so beautifully that she is almost unrecognisable.

Not every update needs to be long to matter. Sometimes one photo says it all: settled, safe, loved, busy, curious, bonded or finally living the life they should have had all along.
Otis came to us after a failed bond and desperately needed a friend. He was neutered, given time, care and the right support, and he now has a lovely girlfriend to share life with.
Mr Grey officially left the building after working hard to reach a healthier weight. He is now exploring his new home, enjoying foraging, supervised free-roaming and a carefully managed diet.
Socks has well and truly landed on her feet. She is enjoying her new home and settling into her next chapter beautifully. We are just waiting for the serial rearranging to begin.
Phoebe came from the huge hamster hoarding case. After everything they had been through, Phoebe and her babies all went on to find homes. A huge outcome from a very difficult rescue.
These are some of the earlier success stories already shared by Greatfield, from rats rescued from awful conditions to rabbits who found the lives they deserved.
Greatfield was part of a huge rescue of more than 80 rats, working alongside rescues around the country. Twelve boys came into Greatfield’s care after being kept in terrible conditions, suffering from respiratory infections, mites and other health issues.
They were finally given safety, treatment, clean housing and the chance to live properly cared-for lives.
Buddy was being given away for free and living in poor conditions, with unsuitable food, no proper setup and owners who were scared to handle him. When collected, he immediately showed his gentle nature by coming forward for attention.
Once safe, he was vaccinated, castrated and microchipped, then found a wonderful forever home with his Elsa, where he became a devoted husbun.
Tilly is now thriving in her forever home, happy, free and loved-up with her husbun. Her new life is unrecognisable from the suffering she endured before rescue.

Lavin was dumped on the Yorkshire Moors in the pitch black, but his personality shone through. He was friendly, comical, chilled-out and full of character.
After such a frightening start, he finally found his forever home and the safe, loving life he always deserved.
